Environment and Public Health Organization (ENPHO)\u00a0in coordination with Water Supply and Sanitation Division Office, Bara district\u00a0successfully completed\u00a0Master\u00a0Training of Trainers (M-ToT) on Delivering\u00a0Effective WASH Training (DEWT)\u00a0<\/strong>in\u00a0Birgunj\u00a0of\u00a0Parsa\u00a0district\u00a0dated 15-19 March, 2021.<\/p>\n

The main objective of the training was to enhance knowledge and skills of the trainers to deliver WASH training effectively.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A five\u00a0days\u2019 M-ToT\u00a0on\u00a0DEWT\u00a0mainly\u00a0focused\u00a0quality of an effective trainer,\u00a0create safe\u00a0learning environment,\u00a0motivate learners,\u00a0four things that learners need,\u00a0presentation skills,\u00a0ask effective questions,\u00a0active listening\u00a0and learning,\u00a0support stages of learning, responding the participants,\u00a0adapting lessons,\u00a0equitable learning environment\u00a0for effectively delivering WASH training.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

“I\u00a0committ\u00a0to pay even personally if\u00a0ENPHO\u00a0call\u00a0 for\u00a0any types of trainings. As I have been\u00a0working from very long time in WASH sector, I found many things gap with me but this training\u00a0fillfulled\u00a0that all.\u00a0The beauty of this\u00a0MToT\u00a0on\u00a0DEWT\u00a0how to facilitate the WASH training effectively.\u00a0Similarly, this it helped me to develop personal as well as\u00a0proffessional\u00a0cereer\u00a0and I learnt many things from this training i.e. during the delivering the training we must thing about the four things that learners need. I am able to be a perfect trainer after this Master\u00a0Taining\u00a0of Trainers on Delivering Effective WASH Training he added.\u00a0\u00a0would\u00a0like to thank facilitators and\u00a0ENPHO”.\u00a0one\u00a0of participant Mr. Sunil Kumar Yadav, PHO,\u00a0Bishnupur\u00a0Rural Municipality,\u00a0Saptari\u00a0district.<\/p>\n

As per final evaluation which was carried out at the end of the training, almost all participants have put opinion that they have met all the expectation completely, very relevant for them, found\u00a0the facilitators are excellent, all session was most useful\u00a0and none of them have least useful session\u00a0in the training.\u00a0The most\u00a0instesting\u00a0thing is that in the\u00a0pre test\u00a0most of the participants were under 20 marks out of 100 but in the post test all were\u00a0in the distinction position.<\/p>\n

Er.\u00a0Zakki\u00a0Ahamad\u00a0Ansari, Division Chief,\u00a0WSSDO, Bara\u00a0said \u201cDefinately\u00a0this\u00a0MToT\u00a0on\u00a0DEWT\u00a0is very fruitful\u00a0as well as as meaningful\u00a0to meet the goal of total sanitation because you all have got knowledge and skills for effectively facilitation WASH training. It might be help to change WASH\u00a0behaviour\u00a0in the community.\u00a0I\u00a0am\u00a0very grateful\u00a0to\u00a0facilitators and\u00a0ENPHO\u00a0for providing such\u00a0an\u00a0effective training on important topics\u00a0for\u00a0the participants working on WASH sector\u00a0he added”.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Altogether,\u00a021 Participants (18\u00a0male and\u00a03\u00a0female)\u00a0from\u00a01\u00a0metropolitant\u00a0city, 8 R\/Munipalities\u00a03\u00a0WSSDO\u00a0and\u00a05 NGOs from different\u00a0proviences\u00a0of Nepal are\u00a0actively participated in\u00a0the training.\u00a0All\u00a0participants appreciated\u00a0the training is very fruitful, meaningful and very relevant for their personal as well\u00a0proffessional\u00a0development.<\/p>\n
