Lalitpur:<\/strong> Agenda for Change Nepal has developed a roadmap for the coming three years (2025\u20132028). The roadmap was prepared with the participation of member organizations of the Agenda for Change Nepal Chapter as well as government officials, outlining the way forward until 2028.<\/p>\n

According to Seema Rajouria, Lead of Agenda for Change Nepal, the roadmap has been designed to strengthen water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) systems, incorporating activities under various pathways.<\/p>\n

Agenda for Change Nepal has identified institutional strengthening, financing arrangements, and models\/provisions of service delivery and infrastructure as its key pathways.<\/p>\n

For this purpose, the capacities of member organizations were also mapped. In addition, a list of future activities to be carried out at federal, provincial, and local levels under these pathways has been prepared, though the roadmap is yet to be finalized, Rajouria informed.<\/p>\n

She further explained that the three-year roadmap covers Agenda for Change Nepal\u2019s vision, pathways, collective communication and advocacy, strategic partnerships, alignment with government priorities, member expertise, system strengthening and organizational expertise in sub-sectors, as well as learning and sharing. Similarly, topics such as monitoring and self-assessment, resources, and reporting have also been included in the roadmap.<\/p>\n

Agenda for Change was established in May 2015. It is a collaboration among organizations (members) with shared goals and values, which adopt common principles and approaches.<\/p>\n

Agenda for Change works in support of national and local governments, advocating for and contributing to WASH systems strengthening in line with Sustainable Development Goal 6.<\/p>\n

The organization is headquartered in the United States, and permanent chapters of Agenda for Change have been established in around 25 countries worldwide.<\/p>\n

In Nepal, nine organizations are affiliated with Agenda for Change: WaterAid Nepal, CARE Nepal, Oxfam Nepal, TDH Foundation, Welthungerhilfe (WHH), Helvetas Nepal, Simavi, FEDWASUN, and WASH Khabar. The initiative in Nepal is led by WaterAid Nepal\u2019s Advocacy Lead, Seema Rajouria.<\/p>\n
